About Me
I've spent my career on both sides of workplace learning — as the person designing the training, and as the coach and colleague relying on it to actually make a difference. That's shaped a simple belief that guides everything I do: learning should feel useful, not like something to get through.
For over 15 years, I've worked across corporate, nonprofit, and education settings, building onboarding programs, training modules, and coaching relationships that help people feel confident doing their jobs. I'm grounded in the ADDIE model and adult learning theory, but honestly, what I love most is the human part — figuring out what's actually getting in someone's way, and building something that clears it.
Some of my favorite work has been the least glamorous: redesigning a clunky onboarding process into something new hires actually enjoy, or sitting with a manager who's struggling to give feedback and helping them find the words. I care about the details — a well-scripted training video, a thoughtfully organized LMS, a program that's easy to follow — because those details are what make the difference between training people tolerate and training that actually sticks.
Along the way, I've also grown into HR-adjacent work — supporting employee relations, performance conversations, and team culture — and I'm currently working toward my SHRM-CP certification to keep building in that direction. But learning and development is where I started and where my heart still is. I light up when I get to take something complicated and turn it into a program that helps someone succeed.
If you're building something — a training program, an onboarding journey, a culture worth showing up for — I'd love to help.
